Hrisey can be reached by the ferry Saevar, which sails throughout the day between Hrisey and Arskogssandur, a journey of about 15 minutes. The island, which is often referred to as \u201cThe Pearl of Eyjafordur\u201d, is known for its birdlife, beauty, and tranquillity.<\/p>\n
