The length of the island is 7.5 km x 2.5 km.<\/p>\n<p>Hrisey can be reached by the ferry Saevar, which sails throughout the day between Hrisey and Arskogssandur, a journey of about 15 minutes. The island, which is often referred to as \u201cThe Pearl of Eyjafordur\u201d, is known for its birdlife, beauty, and tranquillity.<\/p>\n<p>In Hrisey you can find various services, such as a restaurant, guest house, museum, swimming pool, shop, caf\u00e9 and camping site.
